You collect your kit at the station when you go on duty and hand it back when you leave.

| MDT | The police computer: people, vehicles, licences, warrants, reports. |
| Patrol car | Marked vehicle from the department garage. |
LEO-3.1 Bodycam on.
Your bodycam is on for every stop, search, arrest and use of force.
LEO-3.2 Long guns need a reason.
Rifles and shotguns stay in the armoury or the car until a supervisor approves them or suspects are seen with weapons of that kind.
LEO-3.3 Department kit is for duty.
No department vehicles, uniform, radio or MDT off duty (§5.5). The same goes for department weapons. No personal weapons on duty.
LEO-3.4 Seized property goes to the evidence locker.
Nothing taken from a suspect goes into your own pockets, your car or your home.
