EMS

Medics are neutral and treat everyone (§5.3). You make the scene safe, and they treat the people in it.

  • Tell EMS on the radio when a scene is safe to enter.
  • You may stay with a patient who is under arrest. You may not delay treatment to ask questions.
  • The medic decides whether the patient goes to hospital. You decide what happens once the medic says the patient is fit to go.
  • Hospitals are green zones (§3.10). No weapons drawn inside one.

LEO-13.1 Medics are not informants.

Do not ask a medic what a patient told them. A medic may tell you the injuries they treated.

Department of Justice

The Department of Justice has judges, prosecutors and defence lawyers. Judges sign warrants. Prosecutors take your case to court. Defence lawyers argue against it.

  • Give the prosecutor your report and your evidence in good order.
  • A person who asks for a lawyer gets the chance to speak to one (chapter 10).
  • If you are called to court, say what you saw and did (LEO-1.4).
