Rights on arrest

Say this, in your own voice, to every person you arrest:

You are under arrest. You do not have to say anything. Anything you do say can be used in court. You can speak to a lawyer, and if one is on duty we will call them for you. Do you understand?

Traffic stop

  1. Reason.
  2. Dispatch: location, vehicle, plate.
  3. Plate in the MDT.
  4. Lights, safe place, park behind and left.
  5. Greet, give the reason.
  6. Licence and ID, check in the MDT.
  7. Warning, citation or arrest.
  8. Clear with dispatch.

Arrest

  1. Command.
  2. Handcuff, with roleplay.
  3. “You are under arrest for...”
  4. Rights.
  5. Search.
  6. EMS if hurt.
  7. Transport.
  8. Process and report.
